WINE DESCRIPTION
Castillo Perelada Finca Malaveïna is a made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Garnatxa (Catalan for Grenache), Syrah and Cabernet Franc grown on red clay based slopes in the Empordà appellation of north east Spain. Grapes are entirely hand harvested before being crushed and fermented. The wine is aged for around 2 years in new French oak barrels before being matured for a further period in bottle prior to release.

This Castillo Perelada Finca Malaveïna is a bold, full-bodied red wine that offers a wide array of dark fruit aromas, spices and herbs.On the palate, the acidity provides a perfect contrast to the ripe fruit creating an overall balance and harmony. The robust structure, delivered by the ripe muscular tannins help frame the brooding and intense notes of crushed rocks, dark ripe fruit, dried herbs and spice that linger on the long finish.
