Domaine Vincent Latour Saint-Aubin 'Cuvée Thomas' is a village-level quality wine produced from the Chardonnay variety, hailing from the Saint-Aubin appellation of Burgundy, France. The village of Saint-Aubin has managed to step out the shadow of its more prestigious neighbours and is seen as a producing alternatives to Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet. The old vines are planted on the clay-limestone soils. The grapes are hand harvested, carefully sorted and fermented in large oak barrels, before spending a around 12 months in neutral oak prior to bottling.
NOTES FROM VINOVOSS SOMMELIER
The Domaine Vincent Latour Saint-Aubin 'Cuvée Thomas' has a brilliant medium straw appearance with green reflections. On the nose, this wine offers a complex bouquet of citrus and orchard fruits, such as lemon, grapefruit and yellow apple, mingle with hints of white flowers and a touch of chalky minerality. The palate displays a perfect balance between the flavors of citrus, green apple and a subtle nuttiness and the vibrant acidity that adds a refreshing and lively character. The well-integrated oak provides a delicate touch of vanilla and spice on the persistent finish.
