WINE DESCRIPTION
Gouguenheim Valle Escondido Cabernet Sauvignon is a ripe and bold red wine hailing from the Uco Valley in Mendoza, Argentina. The vineyard is located at high elevation which create grapes with high acidity and thicker skins. The grapes are harvested and crushed, before undergoing a temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel vats. The resulting wine is a highly varietally-expressive wine redolent of ripe dark fruit, that will pair perfectly with grilled meats and beef dishes.

The Gouguenheim Valle Escondido Cabernet Sauvignon shimmers in the glass with a deep ruby color, that immediately captivates the eye.On the nose, the wine is immediately expressive and open showing its youthful nature with primary aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, and hints of dark chocolate and bell pepper. It displays good balance between its rich fruit flavors and fresh acidity. The ripe, almost jammy blackcurrant and blackberry flavors are offset by smooth tannins. The finish is simple and fruity, if a little brief.

Mendoza is the largest wine-producing region in Argentina, located in the foothills of the Andes Mountains. It is known for its high-altitude vineyards, producing some of the country's most renowned wines.
