WINE DESCRIPTION
Established in 2001 by Alberto and Diego Cusumano in Partinico, where its headquarters are located, Cusumano is renowned for crafting elegant and distinctive wines across five diverse estates. Among their offerings is the Jalè from the historic Chardonnay vineyard known as "del ventaglio" due to its characteristic fan-like shape, situated at the Tenuta Ficuzza in Piana degli Albanesi, 700 meters above sea level. This Chardonnay captivates with its intensity, freshness, and purity. Benefiting from the altitude and temperature variation, it fully expresses its fruity aromas. The meticulous manual harvest in crates is followed by cold maceration to preserve these aromas. The fermentation takes place in 225-liter old oak barrels, where the wine refines for six months before bottling, resulting in a wine that beautifully captures the essence of its terroir.
