Fredi Torres, a former DJ turned inquisitive oenologist, returned to his Iberian roots after studying viticulture in Switzerland and gaining experience at top wineries worldwide. In 2004, he co-founded Saó del Coster in Priorat, later acquiring vineyards in the region. Collaborating with the Rodriguez brothers in Ribeira Sacra led to Sílice Viticultores. Presently, Torres spearheads diverse projects, including ventures in Montsant, Conca de Barberá, and Languedoc. Fredi Torres Priorat Classic embodies his passion, sourced from terraced vineyards on schistose soil. After manual harvest, gentle maceration yields nuanced flavors. Aging in stainless steel and French oak barrels culminates in a harmonious wine of depth and character.
