WINE DESCRIPTION
Vallevò Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is an unoaked, fruit-forward red produced from grapes that are sourced from Abruzzo region, located on Italy's east coast. The grapes are harvested, crushed and transferred to inert vessels to begin fermentation. The alcoholic fermentation occurs in inert vessels at moderate temperatures in order to produce a gently tannic, fruit-forward wine. The wine is matured around 12 months in stainless steel vats before being bottled which helps to harmonise the flavors whilst preserving the varietal character and vibrancy of fruit.

Vallevò Montepulciano d'Abruzzo displays a medium ruby color on pouring.On the nose, it offers ripe aromas of ripe dark berries, such as blackberry and black cherry, accompanied by hints of spice and earthiness. The palate is medium-bodied with soft tannins and a smooth texture that coats the mouth. The flavors of dark berries continue to dominate, with additional notes of plum and a touch of star anise and dried herbs. The wine's well-integrated tannins provide structure and balance, while the acidity adds freshness and vibrancy.
