This highly aromatic white wine from Antonutti is produced using the Traminer Aromatico variety, known more commonly as Gewurztraminer. The grapes are sourced from the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region, grown in on an alluvial and pebbly plain, in the west of the region. Grapes are destemmed and undergo a cold maceration for a short period before being gently pressed. The juice is transferred to temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks for the fermentation. The wine is aged in stainless steel tanks for around 6 months with frequent bâtonnage (lees stirring) prior to bottling to increase texture.
