WINE DESCRIPTION
Dosio Barolo is made entirely from Nebbiolo coming from the Barolo appellation, located in Northwest Italy.
The Dosio estate is situated on the edge of the historic village of La Morra. The vineyards are planted on local Tortonian soils known for having a bluish tint and a higher proportion of sand than some of the neighbouring communes, this leads to softer and more perfumed wines. The winemaking is traditional with maturation happening in large oak casks for a minimum of 18 months, with a total aging period of 38 months prior to its release.

Dosio Barolo exhibits a pale ruby core fading to a slightly ruby-garnet rim.The nose displays aromas of tart red fruits, such as cherry, plum and raspberry, along with floral notes of rose petals. On the palate, it showcases a full-bodied and robust character, with grippy tannins and high acidity. The flavors are a harmonious blend of red fruits, earthy undertones, and hints of tar and tobacco that linger on the persistent, acid-driven finish.
