Maximin Grünhaus Maximin Grünhäuser Abtsberg Riesling Eiswein is a stunning dessert wine produced by the renowned German winery Maximin Grünhaus. Riesling grapes grown in the Abtsberg vineyard, which is known for its steep slopes and slate soils, are harvested when the grapes have frozen on the vine. The grapes are rapidly hand harvested and pressed resulting in immensely concentrated and sweet juice. The juice is fermented at low temperatures in inert vessels and halted prior to completion to retain sweetness in the wine.
