Muratie Ansela van de Caab is a premium red wine produced by the historic Muratie Wine Estate in Stellenbosch, South Africa. The wine is named after Ansela van de Caab, a former slave who became the first owner of the estate in the 18th century. The vineyards are situated on the slopes of the Simonsberg Mountain and benefit from the cooling Atlantic breezes. The wine is made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc grapes, which are handpicked and carefully selected. The wine is aged in French oak barrels, resulting in a complex and elegant wine with notes of blackcurrant, dark chocolate, and spice.
