Gönc Winery Starman (I Don’t Know Where I Am Going From Here But I Promise It Won’t be Boring!)

Gönc Winery Starman is a bold Slovenian orange wine praised for its dense, full-bodied nature and inviting aroma with notes of banana, mandarin, and pear. While some appreciate its creamy texture and long finish, others find it dry and lush. It pairs well with cheese, offering a rich mouthfeel and crisp finish.

This intriguing wine presents a luminous garnet hue, inviting exploration. The bouquet unfolds with layers of ripe black cherry, wild strawberry, and a hint of dried herbs, underscored by a subtle minerality. On the palate, it offers a medium-bodied structure with silky tannins and vibrant acidity, creating a harmonious balance. The flavors echo the aromatic profile, enriched by nuances of dark chocolate and a whisper of anise. The finish is long and elegant, leaving a lingering impression of spice and red fruit. A compelling expression of modern winemaking with a nod to tradition.
