Wine Description:
Tinto Pesquera Reserva is a premium red wine produced by Alejandro Fernández, a renowned winemaker from the Ribera del Duero appellation in Spain. The wine is made from Tempranillo grapes grown in the Pesquera vineyard, which is known for its high altitude and limestone-rich soils which help bring freshness to balance the ripeness the grapes achieve in this warm region. The winemaking process involves a careful selection of grapes, followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks and aging in French and American oak barrels. The resulting wine is a complex and bold expression of the Tempranillo grape, very different from that found in Rioja, with notes of dark fruit, spice, and vanilla. Tinto Pesquera Reserva is a perfect choice for those seeking a sophisticated and refined wine from one of Spain's most prestigious wine regions.

Wine Expert Note:

Tinto Pesquera Reserva is a powerful, overt style of wine. You can love it for its hedonistic intensity or enjoy its poise for such a burly wine. The color is opaque. The nose is aromatic and full of baked black fruit flavors. The palate is opulent with firm tannins and refreshing acidity. The finish is long and laced with complex oak nuance. This is a well-priced wine that captures the essence of the region and its potential for quality. Serve with bbq lamb or brisket. Enjoy now but this winde will develop for the next 10 years and hold for another 10 years after that.
