Nicole
Wine with a certain body and complexity, but perhaps not quite reaching its full potential. The peach and pear notes are pleasant, but may benefit from a bit more warmth to unfold fully. The tartness is somewhat muted, which can make it a good offering for the price.
Totita Grova
Tart and bracing Cortese that bursts with citrusy freshness, its unapologetic zest cuts through the richness of the fruit. The nose is a detailed blend of green apple, kiwi, and a whisper of pear, while the tongue is a masterclass in harmony and restraint. A 100% Cortese is a rare delight, and this bottle is a prime example of its virtues.
Wanata Queritet
Classy and elegant wine from Piedmont, featuring 100% Cortese, with a medium/pale yellow-straw color and greenish reflexes. The nose is noted for by pronounced white spring flowers, ripe acidic fruit, and a hint of hay and mineral notes. In the mouth, the wine presents a charming sour lemon, lime, and lime zest, accompanied by bitter grapefruit and yellow fruits, apples, peaches, and pear. The wine is balanced, fresh, and soft, with a agreeable zest and a delicate aftertaste, and a long finish.
