Pleasant, easy-drinking wine that's perfect for a casual lunch. It's a amazing choice for those looking for a light and bright option.

Luscious and full-bodied wine with a peach dominant nose, elevated by a fine Salvia presence. The palate is round and smooth, with a peach and Salvia consistency that lingers. However, the wine is also salty and slightly astringent, which detracts from its comprehensively balance. A good offering for the price, but not a exceptional in the Guerrieri Grillo category.

Bright and refreshing glass of crisp and light white wine, perfect for sipping on a warm summer day.

What the web is saying

Gurrieri Grillo is praised for its bright and refreshing qualities, making it ideal for casual lunches or warm summer days. While some appreciate its luscious, full-bodied nature with peach and Salvia notes, others find it slightly salty and astringent. The wine is generally considered a good value, though not exceptional within its category.

Voss Experts4.5

This Sicilian Grillo presents a luminous straw hue, offering a bouquet of ripe citrus, white peach, and a hint of saline minerality, quintessential of its coastal terroir. On the palate, it unfurls with a vibrant acidity that harmonizes with its medium body, showcasing flavors of lemon zest, green apple, and a whisper of almond. The wine's texture is both crisp and slightly waxy, leading to a lingering finish marked by a subtle herbal undertone. Exemplifying the varietal's potential, this Grillo is a fine representation of modern Sicilian winemaking, ideal for pairing with seafood or light pasta dishes.
