Damilano Barolo Cerequio 2019

Damilano Barolo Cerequio is praised for its elegance and complexity, featuring rich aromas of dried fruit, leather, and spices. While some appreciate its smooth tannins and balanced finish, others note a need for aging to reach full potential. Common flavors include cherry, vanilla, and balsamic, with a mix of earthy and floral notes. The wine's depth and structure are often highlighted, though some find it slightly bitter.

This Barolo from Damilano is a complex and powerful expression of Nebbiolo from the Cerequio cru in La Morra. On the nose, aromas of ripe cherry, wild herbs, rose petal, licorice and earthy notes come together in an intriguingly aromatic bouquet. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with ripe tannins and bright acidity providing structure and balance. The lengthy finish is filled with a mix of savory, herbal flavors. This is an elegantly structured Barolo that will continue to develop and evolve over the years. Enjoy now with dishes like osso buco or grilled pork chops.
