Disappointing conclusion to a promising start. The wine's finesse and depth are evident, but it's clear that it's still finding its footing. The conclusion is satisfying, with a lingering richness that's tempered by a dash of acidity. while it's not a bad wine, it's not quite there yet. A bit more time would be beneficial, but I'm willing to give it another chance. The usual Barolo characteristics are present, with a rich, supple texture and a understated smokiness. It's a shame it didn't live up to its full potential.
