Wine Expert Note:

This Conte Emo Capodilista La Montecchia Merlot has a deep ruby color and a nose of subtle herbal notes, blackberry, and plum. On the palate, it is velvety and medium-bodied, with flavors of ripe dark fruits, leather, and a hint of spice. The wine is elegant with a good level of concentration and depth on the palate. The tannins are well-integrated, and the finish is savory and relatively persistent with good definition.
