Wine Expert Note:

Château Clarke Le Merle Blanc de Château Clarke Bordeaux Blanc is an example of a Sauvignon Blanc-based wine that is too often overlooked. Pale lemon in color with an aromatic nose of lemon, peach, and cut grass. The palate is medium-bodied with a layered texture. Engagingly complex with notes of oak toast and a lingering finish that ends with tangy acidic freshness. Outstanding with smoked fish and can be enjoyed now or within the next 10 years.
