Pinord's family winemaking tradition dates back to the late 19th century when Miquel Tetes Valldosera made wine in Sant Cugat Sesgarrigues. Bodegues Pinord was founded in 1942 by Josep Mª Tetas. In 2010, the family acquired a winery in Ribera del Duero. Joan Josep Tetes, Rosa Mª José, and their children Mireia, Josep, and Joan are directly involved in all stages of vineyard management and winemaking.

In Penedès, Pinord converted all its vineyards to organic farming in the 1990s. The Mas Blanc estate in Priorat encompasses 18 hectares of land. All of the estate's own vineyards are farmed biodynamically with Demeter certification, and in 2007 Pinord produced the first Demeter-certified biodynamic wine in Spain. A sustainable, eco-friendly winery was constructed at the Mas Muntanyans estate. Pinord cavas undergo slow fermentation at low temperature. Pinord's wines and cavas are vegan, made without animal-derived ingredients, and its wines include Reynal and Masia Dibon cava.
On VinoVoss, Pinord has 3 wines in stock: 1 red, 2 sparkling. Their average rating is 4.3 out of 5 from 15 ratings.
