About Merum Priorati
Merum Priorati is a wine estate in Porrera, at the eastern edge of Priorat in the province of Tarragona, about 100 kilometres south of Barcelona. The property comprises three agricultural estates—Les Foreses, La Plana Marjot and Les Escomelles—and a newly built winery in the most temperate part of Porrera’s urban centre. The estates lie on the northern side of Porrera’s hillsides, between Els Tossals and the Serra del Molló, where their vineyards grow. Most of the vines face south and climb the ravines at elevations ranging from 300 to 550 metres. Merum Priorati’s wines include Inici, Destí and Cel.
