Comunica

Comunica is the wine project of Pep Aguilar and Patri Morillo, producing Montsant wines from vineyards at Mas d’en Cosme in Falset. The estate lies in the Fontanals and Baboixos area beside the Serra de Llaberia, at 370 metres, where groundwater helps the vines counter the area’s heat. Granite soils predominate, with some terraces of calcareous clay. The seven hectares of vineyards grow Garnatxa negra, Garnatxa peluda, Carinyena, Syrah and Ull de llebre. To preserve what these vineyards express, Pep and Patri choose to age their wines in stainless steel.
