Gratavinum was founded in 2003 in the Priorat region by Joan and Josep Cusiné, together with their wives MªElena Jiménez and Marta Casas, winemakers in Parés Baltà, and winemaker Jordi Fernandez. The name Gratavinum is a contraction of Gratallops and the Latin word vinum, which means wine.

The winery is located in Gratallops, with vineyards set on terraces rich in llicorella slate stone between Gratallops and Poboleda in the Priorat mountains. The grapes grown are Carinyena, Garnatxa, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah. Gratavinum applies biodynamic practices and cultivates vineyards organically without irrigation, pesticides, or herbicides. To protect the vines, sulfur dust treats powdery mildew, Bordeaux mixture counteracts mildew, and Bacillus thurigensis treats against worm pests.
On VinoVoss, Gratavinum has 1 wine in stock: 1 red. Their average rating is 4.1 out of 5 from 52 ratings.
