Wine Description:
The predominantly south-facing vineyards are located near the estate, with soils consisting either entirely of marl or a mix of marl and clay. The grapes are destemmed, fermented, and kept in contact with the skins for about 15 days. After racking, the wine is aged in small oak barrels for 12-15 months. It is then blended in stainless steel tanks and undergoes an additional five months of bottle aging. Pairs excellently with roasts, grilled, and braised white and red meats, particularly rabbit and poultry.
