The Eyrie Vineyards Chasselas Doré

The Eyrie Vineyards Chasselas Doré is praised for its fresh and elegant profile, with notes of grapefruit, melon, and apple. Some appreciate its zesty freshness and silky texture, while others enjoy the lean, uplifting finish. However, the wine's earthy undertones may not appeal to everyone. Overall, it is considered a classy and refreshing choice.

A luminous pale straw hue introduces this Chasselas Doré, offering a delicate bouquet of white blossom, ripe pear, and a whisper of honeysuckle. On the palate, it reveals a lithe, elegant structure with a soft, rounded texture, underscored by a vibrant acidity that enlivens its subtle minerality. The mid-palate is nuanced with notes of green apple and a hint of almond, leading to a clean, refreshing finish. This wine exemplifies the finesse and restraint typical of The Eyrie's style, making it a refined choice for those seeking an understated yet expressive white wine experience.
