This Riesling from the esteemed Wehlener Sonnenuhr vineyard exudes a luminous pale straw hue, revealing its pedigree through a bouquet of ripe white peach, honeysuckle, and a whisper of petrol, indicative of its age and terroir. The palate is a masterclass in balance, with a vibrant acidity that cuts through the wine's inherent richness, showcasing layers of green apple, lime zest, and a subtle minerality. The finish is long and precise, echoing the slate soils of the Mosel. This Grosses Gewächs is a benchmark for dry Rieslings, offering both immediate pleasure and significant aging potential.

Subtle and elegant wine with a elegant nose featuring pear and slate notes, accompanied by a refreshing and clean sensation with pear, apple core, and spicy undertones. The wine's tanginess is well-balanced, and the linger is clean and refreshing. in contrast the wine may benefit from a bit of time to mature, its current incarnation is a comforting and captivating experience.
