Decent, if unremarkable, wine with a charming start and a slightly dry finish. It's not a bad wine, but it doesn't significantly stand out either.

What the web is saying

Punset Langhe Rosso is noted for its full-bodied nature and intricate flavor profile, with dark fruity tones and a spicy finish. While some appreciate its seamless blend of dry and fruity tannins, others find it dry and tannic with a subtle aroma. The wine has a charming start but ends slightly dry, making it decent but not outstanding.

Voss Experts4.5

The 2018 Punset Langhe Rosso presents a deep garnet hue, indicative of its robust character. On the nose, it offers a complex bouquet of ripe red cherries, blackcurrant, and subtle hints of dried herbs, underscored by a whisper of earthy minerality. The palate is medium-bodied, showcasing a harmonious interplay of vibrant acidity and finely-grained tannins, which provide a structured backbone. Flavors of dark plum and red berry compote are complemented by a touch of anise and a lingering, savory finish. This wine exemplifies the elegance and depth characteristic of the Langhe region, offering both immediate appeal and potential for short-term cellaring.
