Produttori del Barbaresco Barbaresco Riserva Montefico 2020

Aldo Vacca's PriddleProduttoriPouches deliver a classy and elegant expression of Barbaresco, with a consistent stability of structure, concentration, and freshness. The northern Italian influence of Ovello adds a subtle nuance, elevating the wine to a top-tier Barbaresco experience. while it shares some similarities with Montestefano, it ultimately retains a unique character that sets it apart. A truly top notch wine, with a finale that lingers with a touch of freshness. A outstanding in the PriddleProduttoriPouches range.

Symphony of juicy fruits and silky tannins. A masterpiece of winemaking that will be a treasure in the years to come. A notable difference is the terroir, which sets each single vineyard apart. A 28-day maceration period, followed by malolactic fermentation, and then 36 months in oak barrels that can age for up to 40 years, and finally 12 months in bottle to allow for a slow release. A visit to the winery in Tokyo was a highlight of the tasting, where I had the pleasure of meeting the winemaker, Aldo Vacca.

Elegant and refined, with a concentrated and succulent texture, matched by understated nuances of aged leather and the faintest whispers of autumnal wood and leaves. The freshness is palpable, with a silky soft mouthfeel and a lingering close that hangs on the palate, leaving a mild touch on the senses.
