Pinord Diorama Xarel-Lo 2023

Pinord Diorama Xarel-Lo is praised for its lively, bright character with notes of white peach, citrus, and honeysuckle. While some enjoy its refreshing tanginess and minerality, others find the finish too acidic. It's a reliable choice for warm weather and pairs well with soft cheese, though some consider it unremarkable.

Displaying a pale straw hue, the Pinord Diorama Xarel-Lo opens with a bouquet of green apple and citrus blossom, underscored by a subtle minerality. On the palate, it reveals a vibrant acidity that elegantly frames flavors of lemon zest and white peach, with a whisper of almond skin adding depth. The wine's medium body and crisp texture are complemented by a saline finish, characteristic of its Penedès origin. This Xarel-Lo exemplifies the varietal's potential for freshness and precision, making it an exemplary choice for those seeking a refined expression of Catalan terroir.
