Wine Description:
The Zerrán Red Wine is meticulously crafted from a blend of Garnacha, Mazuelo, and Syrah grapes. These grapes are carefully sourced from their ancient vineyards, which boast an average age of 50 years. Nestled near the Mediterranean Sea at an elevation of 550 meters, these vineyards thrive in limestone and clay soils, with some patches rich in schist. Bodegas Jorge Ordónez proudly produces this wine under the Montsant designation of origin. The fermentation process initiates in stainless steel tanks, while malolactic fermentation takes place in oak barrels. With a 16-month aging period in French oak barrels, the Zerrán Red Wine emerges as a fruity, intricate, and harmonious wine. It is best enjoyed at a temperature ranging from 16 to 18°C.
