Classy and mature wine with a plush texture, boasting a luscious and well-rounded profile. The light nuances of cranberry, oak, and leather are expertly balanced, but the follow through is satisfyingly dry. The nose is featured by the prominent weight of cranberry, featuring a compelling and captivating aroma.

What the web is saying

Marchesi di Barolo Barolo Tradizione is praised for its rich, full-bodied character and complex flavors of cherry, oak, and leather. It offers a smooth, tannic finish and is well-suited for aging. While some find it elegant and balanced, others note a lack of depth in certain vintages. Its earthy undertones and fruit-forward profile make it a popular choice for pairing with hearty meals.

Voss Experts4.8

This Marchesi di Barolo Barolo Tradizione is a powerful expression of Nebbiolo, the local grape variety of Barolo. It has a complex and intense nose of ripe red fruit, leather, and spice, while the palate is full-bodied and tannic, with notes of dried herbs, forest floor, licorice, and dark cherry. The finish is long and persistent, with a lingering intensity. Enjoy this classic Barolo with dishes such as beef stew, boar, and aged cheeses.
