Wine Description:
Maison d'Amis originated from a unique opportunity for the owners to collaborate with winemaker Steve Matthiasson, utilizing grapes from an exceptional Coombsville vineyard. The venture has expanded to encompass locations in the Rutherford benchland, a cool climate site in the Oak-knoll District, and Clarksburg. Their primary focus is on classically crafted Cabernet Sauvignon, drawing inspiration from the exceptional Cabernets produced in Napa during the 1970s and early 1980s. It serves as their tribute to the traditional Napa Valley style, combining grapes from all three Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards they source, enriched with a touch of Cabernet Franc.
Pros:
  • This Maison d'Amis Cabernet Sauvignon has a complex and intense aroma, with notes of cedar wood, blackberry, and blackcurrant
