Wine Description:
Kosta Browne Amber Ridge Vineyard Pinot Noir is produced using low yielding Pinot Noir. The grapes are hand harvested before being destemmed and undergoing a short cold soak to increase the aromatics and color. The wines are then fermented in traditional in open vats before being aged for roughly 14 to 18 months in french oak barrels, a proportion of which are new to add extra depth and complexity.

This Kosta Browne Amber Ridge Vineyard Pinot Noir is a delightful red wine. On the nose it has aromas of ripe cherry, raspberry, and baking spices. On the palate it is full-bodied and has flavors of fresh red fruits, earthiness and a hint of oak. The tannins are well-balanced, and the finish is long and smooth. Overall, this is an excellent example of Pinot Noir, and an excellent value for the price.
