Wine Description:
Gérard Raphet took over from his father Jean in 2005, but today it’s his daughter Marion, the first formally trained winemaker in the family, who runs the show. The domaine spans 12 hectares, including prestigious Grands Crus like Chambertin Clos de Bèze, Charmes-Chambertin, Clos de la Roche, and Clos Vougeot. They also hold plots in three Premiers Crus: Gevrey-Chambertin Combottes, Lavaux-Saint-Jacques, and Morey-Saint-Denis Les Millandes. Their portfolio includes village wines from Gevrey-Chambertin, Morey-Saint-Denis, Chambolle-Musigny, a Bourgogne Rouge, and Passetoutgrains. Raphet’s style emphasizes purity and precision, with light extraction and minimal new oak (15%) to highlight the terroir. With strict yield control, sorting, and no fining or filtration, Marion continues the family's legacy, crafting wines that are celebrated for their elegance and finesse.
