Fontanafredda Vigna La Villa Barolo is a distinguished wine made exclusively from 100% Nebbiolo grapes, sourced from the historic Vigna "La Villa" in the Barolo region. This vineyard, located in the MGA Paiagallo, features clay soils with silt and sand infiltrations, contributing to the wine's complex profile. The grapes, harvested at full maturity, are delivered in small crates to preserve their integrity and fermented in steel tanks using indigenous yeasts. Post-fermentation, the must remains in contact with the skins to extract noble substances essential for aging. The wine is then aged for 30 months in oak barrels and an additional 8 months in bottles stored in a dark, temperature-controlled environment. Fontanafredda Vigna La Villa Barolo offers a rich, elegant palate, embodying the depth and sophistication characteristic of premium Barolo wines.
