The Cortese grape displays a smooth union with this graceful Gavi. The glass is pale yellow, with elegant floral and honeydew melon rind tones that unfold effortlessly. As the wine is poured, a lively effervescence is released, followed by a gradual development of deeper melon, green pear, lemon, and almond flavors, all tempered by a clean mineral backdrop. The mouthfeel is soft and crisp, with a lean acidity. The ABV is 12.5%. The Serafino family's dedication to this vineyard is evident in every vintage, and their expertise is on full display. 4/5 stars.
