This Riesling presents a luminous pale straw hue, with a bouquet that unfolds layers of white peach, lime zest, and delicate jasmine, underscored by a subtle minerality. On the palate, it offers a precise interplay of vibrant acidity and a whisper of residual sweetness, creating a harmonious balance. The mid-palate reveals a textural depth with notes of green apple and wet slate, leading to a long, crisp finish marked by a hint of saline. Exemplifying the finesse of Pfalz terroir, this wine is a benchmark for those seeking elegance and complexity in a dry Riesling.

Dr. Von Bassermann-Jordan Riesling is praised for its bright, fruit-forward profile with lemon, pear, and stone fruit flavors. While some appreciate its balanced acidity and mild minerality, others find the finish could be smoother. The wine is considered a good investment at $17, though some feel the crispness can overwhelm. Overall, it's a solid choice for those seeking a vibrant, easy-drinking Riesling.
