Dr. Loosen Erdener Treppchen Riesling GG Alte Reben 2022

Dr. Loosen Erdener Treppchen Vineyard Riesling is praised for its balance of sweetness and acidity, with notes of green apple, citrus, and peach. While some find the finish long and satisfying, others feel it could be more lingering. The wine pairs well with seafood and creamy cheeses, offering a vibrant and refreshing experience.

This dry Riesling dazzles with its incredible complexity and site-specific elegance. Its pure, mineral-driven character reflects the red slate soils, while a luxurious texture hints at the 12 months spent on the lees. With a vibrant structure and a long, captivating finish, it’s a wine of enduring charm and depth. Pair it with roasted duck breast, herb-crusted pork loin, or seared scallops for a refined culinary experience. It also complements vegetarian dishes like mushroom risotto or grilled asparagus with a lemon butter sauce, highlighting its versatility and finesse.
