Dr. Loosen is a wine estate in Bernkastel on the Mosel with more than 200 years of family ownership. Its owner, Ernst F. Loosen, has run the estate since 1988.

Seven of its vineyard sites were designated Grosse Lage in the 1868 viticultural map for the Trier administrative district. Since 1988, the estate has bottled only Rieslings from classified Grosse Lage sites as single-vineyard wines, while its other wines are labelled Gutsriesling. All vineyard parcels it owns are planted with ungrafted vines, and many of its vines are more than 100 years old. Inspired by historical sources and older vintages, it uses spontaneous fermentation in wooden casks and keeps wines on the full lees for 12 or 24 months without bâtonnage. Its wines include GG Réserve wines from selected Grosse Lage sites, produced since the 2011 vintage.
On VinoVoss, Dr. Loosen has 13 wines in stock: 11 white, 1 sparkling. Their average rating is 3.8 out of 5 from 1,841 ratings.
