Domaine Ostertag Les Jardins Riesling is a premium white produced by renowned winemaker André Ostertag in the Alsace region located in north east France. Domaine Ostertag is a small family winery founded in 1966 in the village of Epfig, in Alsace. André is a biodynamic winegrower whose grapes for Les Jardins Riesling come from vines of over 30 years old grown on soils of white sand, quartz, clay and marl. The grapes are harvested by hand, then destemmed and gently pressed. The resulting must is fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks and remains there, on lees, for 12 months to produce a pure and site-expressive Riesling.
