Lamarche boasts four Vosne-Romanée Premier Crus, including La Croix Rameau, Aux Malconsorts, Les Suchots, and the featured wine from half a hectare in Les Chaumes. Although allocations from other vineyards are currently unavailable, hopes are high for future access. Situated beneath Aux Malconsorts and La Tâche, Les Chaumes yields exceptionally fine, perfumed, and sensual Vosne. Lamarche tends 30 to 40-year-old vines for this 2017 vintage, utilizing 30% whole bunch fermentation, resulting in an exquisite expression of the terroir.
