Aurelien
Sophisticated and balanced Chenin, presenting its lively and dry qualities with a well blended finish.
Tugcan
Solid, stellar affordability wine that didn't quite resonate with me, but I'm glad I discovered it. It's a fresh, lightly oaked Chenin with a melon-forward palate, steely core, and bright acidity. It's a superb introduction to the wine, but I'm intrigued by the young winemaker Kiara Scott's work. I'll be keeping an eye on her future projects.

Brookdale Estate Mason Road Chenin Blanc is praised for its balance and elegance, with flavors of pear, apple, citrus, and honey. While some find it lively and crisp, others appreciate its subtle sweetness and minerality. The wine is noted for its affordability and refinement, with a fresh, clean style. However, a few reviewers felt it didn't fully resonate with them.
This Chenin Blanc from Brookdale Estate showcases a pale straw hue, revealing a bouquet of ripe quince, white peach, and subtle honeysuckle. On the palate, it presents a harmonious interplay of vibrant acidity and a creamy texture, underscored by notes of lemon curd and a hint of wet stone minerality. The mid-palate is enlivened by a touch of salinity, leading to a crisp, lingering finish with whispers of almond and chamomile. Exemplifying the versatility of South African Chenin, this wine is a testament to its region's ability to produce wines of both finesse and depth.
