Bride Valley Rosé Bella 2014

Delightful sparkling wine with a charming personality, the Spurriers' latest providing is a true gem. A minor mishap with the cork resulted in a brief but pleasing fizz, which was quickly contained and cleaned up. The wine's vibrant pink appearance is a lovely touch, and the nose is influenced by by sweet strawberry and cranberry notes, with a touch of toasted bread. The acidity is bracing and refreshing, and yet the mouthfeel is silky and velvety. The body is well-structured, making it a top notch standout for a summer evening gathering. Overall, a super pleasant wine that's perfect for a casual get-together.

Delightful addition to my wine collection, Steven Spurrier’s Bride Valley wines have consistently impressed me with their rich, multi faceted notes and elegant finish. The gentle nuances of cherry, red fruit, and citrus are expertly balanced by a nuance of toast, vanilla, and almond, meanwhile the minerality adds layers and sophistication. The wine’s color is a beautiful, vibrant pink, making it a perfect match for a variety of cheeses and charcuterie. I look forward to revisiting this wine again in the future.
