Quorum represents a Barbera d'Asti crafted through the collaboration of five historic Piedmont wineries and a distillery. This endeavor was realized through the establishment of Hastae, an association named after the ancient Roman appellation for the city of Asti, renowned as a symbol of wine. Hastae embodies the collective commitment to the development of this region's most significant and defining wine, Quorum. Quorum is the result of selecting and processing the finest Barbera grapes from each family's vineyards. It's a wine crafted exclusively from 100% Barbera grapes, aged for ten months in small, new French oak barrels. Following blending, the wine is bottled without filtration and allowed to mature in the bottle for several years. The inaugural vintage of Quorum was produced in 1997 and introduced to the market in the spring of 2000.
