Alheit Vineyards Hereafter Here Chenin Blanc 2024

Alheit Vineyards Hereafter Here Chenin Blanc offers a rich, layered experience with a textured, multifaceted character. While some appreciate its bright, refreshing nature with tropical fruit and zesty liveliness, others enjoy the cohesive union of stonefruit and cheese with a creamy aftertaste. Its sweetness is balanced by lime, making it suitable for warm weather and outdoor activities.

This Chenin Blanc from Alheit Vineyards is a testament to the expressive potential of South African terroir. The wine presents a pale straw hue, with a bouquet that unfurls layers of quince, white peach, and a whisper of honeysuckle. On the palate, it is both vibrant and textured, showcasing a deft balance of zesty citrus acidity and a mineral undertone reminiscent of wet stone. The mid-palate reveals a subtle creaminess, likely from lees contact, leading to a lingering finish marked by notes of almond and a hint of saline. This wine exemplifies the elegance and complexity achievable in Stellenbosch Chenin Blanc.
