What is the “Make Your Dreams Come True” National Day?

Funnily enough if we are writing about any other celebration day, the origins of that special day are quite certain and well known.

Well, in this case the origins are quite vague. But what we do know is that dreams have always been a big part of human cultures.

In antiquity, the profound belief in dreams as divine messages was pervasive among ancient civilizations. The Ancient Egyptians, driven by their unwavering faith in the significance of dreams, actively sought guidance, comfort, and healing through induced dreaming. They would recline on specially crafted 'dream beds,' anticipating insights from the spiritual realm. This practice highlights the profound connection between ancient people and the belief that dreams held profound messages from higher powers.

Dream interpretation wasn't limited to the Egyptians alone; evidence suggests that various ancient cultures, including the Sumerians and Babylonians, meticulously documented their religious texts with interpretations of diverse dreams. This rich tradition of decoding dreams underscores the timeless fascination and reverence ancient societies had for the profound wisdom they believed fascinating journey of spiritual exploration that transcends time.
