Terre del Barolo is a wine cooperative in Castiglione Falletto, founded on 8 December 1958 by Arnaldo Rivera, a teacher and the town’s mayor, together with 21 local winegrowers. By its first harvest, the cooperative had 362 members, and construction of the winery began.

Its vineyards cover 600 hectares across the 11 Barolo municipalities. To assist member growers with plant protection, the cooperative introduced a technical assistance programme encouraging collective purchases of traditional products, organic compounds and natural fertilisers. At the winery, 5,500 square metres are dedicated to ageing. Its wines include Metodo Classico Bianco and Metodo Classico Rosé, both made with grapes supplied by the cooperative’s member growers.
