Fontanafredda is a wine estate in Serralunga d’Alba, founded in 1858 when King Vittorio Emanuele II bought the property as a gift for Rosa Vercellana. Wine production followed in 1870, when the first wines were vinified in its cellars. Oscar Farinetti and his partners bought the estate in 2008.

The estate has 120 certified organic hectares, and conversion of all its vineyards to organic farming began in 2015. It harvests Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Nebbiolo for its Alta Langa. Its wines include Contessa Rosa Metodo Classico, first produced in 1959, and Barolo La Rosa, first made as a certified cru in 1964 by separately vinifying grapes from the vineyard of the same name.
On VinoVoss, Fontanafredda has 2 wines in stock: 2 red. Their average rating is 3.9 out of 5 from 1,207 ratings.
