Five generations have run the San Lorenzo estate, tracing back to 1890 when Francesco D'Amico purchased the first 2 hectares in Castilenti. On August 10, 1940, Giuseppe D'Amico purchased 80 hectares from Duke Caracciolo, and in 1950, Adina D'Amico and Guido Barbone converted the family farm into a winemaking estate. In 1979, Gianfranco Barbone and Giuseppina Barbone expanded the estate from 80 to 150 hectares, and in 2003, Gianluca and Fabrizio Galasso led the company following the recognition of the Montepulciano Colline Teramane DOCG.

Vineyard soils are clay-limestone with deep underground spring water. In 2009, it began implementing measures to drastically reduce plant protection products, and joined the National Quality System of Integrated Production (SQNPI) in 2017. Winemaking uses natural yeasts during fermentation, complete temperature control during vinification, and cryomaceration, and its wines include Escol docg riserva and pecorino spumante brut.
On VinoVoss, San Lorenzo has 4 wines in stock: 3 red, 1 white. Their average rating is 3.7 out of 5 from 33 ratings.
