La Valentina is a wine estate founded in 1990 in Spoltore, in the hills near Pescara. In 1994, following changes among the partners, Sabatino, Roberto and Andrea Di Properzio bought the entire company.

The estate’s early work included studying the Santa Teresa vineyard. Its vineyards include organically managed plots certified by ICEA and conventionally managed plots with reduced use of chemical products. It grows native grape varieties and harvests by hand, while using green manure and introducing vines obtained through massal selection into new vineyards. Its wines include Docheio and Bellovedere Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, Spelt Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Riserva, and Spelt Oro organic Trebbiano d’Abruzzo.
On VinoVoss, La Valentina has 4 wines in stock: 3 red, 1 white. Their average rating is 3.8 out of 5 from 193 ratings.
