Nevio

Nevio was founded in 2018 in Abruzzo, Italy. Nevio is crafted at Tenuta Talamonti, a third-generation family winery owned, operated, and managed by the Redmont-Di Tonno family. Tenuta Talamonti was the first winery ever awarded the Gender Equality European & International Standard Diversity certification (GEEIS). The name Nevio was inspired by the ancient Warrior of Capestrano statue, unearthed in 1934 among the vines and believed to depict King Nevio.

Nevio's grapes are grown in Loreto Aprutino, located between the coast of Pescara and the Gran Sasso, and its wines include 100% estate-grown and bottled Montepulciano. Due to adequate rainfall, no irrigation is needed on the estate. Cover crops are planted to foster biodiversity and eliminate insecticides and herbicides. The estate is powered by 100% renewable energy from solar panels and wind farms. Following fermentation, discarded grape skins and pips are composted.
